Plugging away at the computerCraig Scott was born and raised in the shadow of Toronto, Canada, and has been writing since he was old enough to hold a crayon. At the age of seven, he produced his first hardcover novel, and while it never made the bestseller lists, it remained a family classic.

Since then, Craig has held a number of day jobs. Most of these revolved around computer services, which kept a roof over his head but were less-than-ideal outlets for his creative expression.

Now, as owner of his own consultancy, Craig is able to dedicate blocks of time to his writing passion. Such speculative fiction genres as steam- and cyberpunk, and certainly fantasy, capture his imagination and allow him to play “what if?”

When he writes, Craig follows one simple rule: write a story he would love to read.
